Digester Recirculation
We completed the union between our pumping and mixing expertise by developing the HydroMix hydraulic mixing system. HydroMix utilizes a solids handling pump to recirculate the sludge through strategically placed nozzles within the tank. The resultant fluid jet from the nozzles provides optimum mixing to provide uniform solids suspension.
Use our top entry mixers for agitating sludge combined with our Ragless impeller. The Ragless impeller will prevent stringy material and rags from accumulating on the impeller, while also providing good top to bottom motion for optimum mixing.
All of our mixing products provide solid suspension to ensure that solids won’t mound or settle during sludge mixing. Over time, mounding can decrease the active volume of the tank, leading to expensive cleanups and loss of capacity.
